Battanian troops mostly sucked except for their Fians which hard carried them to being a pretty strong faction. Battanian Fians were best archers, Imperial Legionaries were best infantry, Vlandian Banner Knight were best melee cavalry, but Khuzait Khan Guard were basically almost as good in melee while also being amazing in ranged.They have competitive stats and armor at lower tiers but max-tier mercenaries are generally slightly weaker than max-tier faction troops.
