I have 60K on the vehicle and called Cadillac to see if there was a recall since so many people are reporting the same issue. There was no recall or service bulletin for this problem but obviously its an issue since so many people are having it. That’s called the CUE faceplate. Open the CUE faceplate and leave it up. Turn off the vehicle. Open the driver’s door and then leave it open for 30-60 seconds. Close the door and then start your Cadillac again. Let everything power up. Close the CUE faceplate. Now I have to remove it and reinsert it to get recognized by CUE. I checked the USB stick out on my PC, even running diagnostics on it and it works perfectly. Delete your phone from your vehicle’s list of paired devices: 1. With the vehicle on, use the vehicle touch screen to go to the list of paired devices. 2. Select the phone name. 3. Select Delete . 4. Confirm that the phone name has been removed from the list of paired devices.
