Battery wise, yes. Timer wise, no. The app/transmitter keep track of the activation date and uses that to force a transmitter change. The battery actually lasts much longer than 90 days, in general. People use to reset transmitter activation dates and use them for a second 90 days. The transmitters have a 110 day max "life".But I will say it lasted pretty darned long. I started using G6 on December 23, and finally switched to a new transmitter today, so that is 184 days and still functioning. The transmitter I started on 12/23 was made on 9/7/2018, sell by 5/9/2019.
