Gmc canyon transmission shudder
2018 ZR2, extended cab, V6 and 8 speed. Purchased new, shudder began at 11,400 miles. Took it in and showed my service guy all the online discussions about the fluid. He acknowledged the issue and that they were aware of it, they drained and flushed, refilled with Mobil 1.The manager said that the old fluid allowed the torque converter to slip causing the shutter. Since then I haven't felt any shudder granted I've driven just over 500 miles since the repair. The manager told me that the change of fluid has fixed all of the vehicles at that dealership.
