I used about 4" of the OE exhaust off the manifold, for the flanges and O2 bungs. The rest is 2.5 pipe, curved pieces from the scrap bin at an exhaust shop, off a 2010 Camaro. For 400 RWHP, your best bet is always displacement or forced air. I would start with a 6.0 (LQ4 or LQ9).

Personally I would ditch the 60E and get a 4L80E though. You could probably trade off the LS1 for an iron 6.0L too, which would work better for the swap. Ls1truck.com and lt1swap.com is where I got my info from. Dirty Dingo slider mounts for about $100 is the way to go. LS motor and any trans will bolt together and drop in with no welding. The one in your truck has a different input spline size. Going 6L look for a k2500 in the yards that was hooked to a 6.0 for the nv4500.
