Hughesnet system control center not working

Although you might not have a Fusion account, the number being shown from the modem's System Status page or from the old Usage Meter reflects upon incorrect (default) plan totals of 250GB Service and 250GB Bonus - not your actual data plan. For my laptop (X170KM-G) I found control center v3.36 on that webpage. Once downloaded and unzipped be sure to run setup.bat NOT setup.exe. At least that was the trick for me. When I ran the setup.exe, it rendered control center a useless icon in my system tray and control center simply didn't work at all.

That was the problem. It's working fine, now. I'm going to go back to using Google's DNS servers as the adapter on my desktop likes to change the DNS address multiple times if I have it set to automatic.
