Jul 17, 2022 · Hello Matt, I too found that backup beeping annoying. Yes, I know its there for safety reasons. So, pop the hood and open the fuse box on your right. Halfway down, second fuse from the right is the VESS 10 amp fuse (look on the back of the fuse box lid). The tap is modified to allow the remote control receiver to make or break the VESS circuit. The tap at the back gets power from a 12 volt power outlet circuit to run the remote control receiver. The receiver itself is mounted beside the brake fluid reservoir at the upper left.
