Many may claim that it's still around because there's some "hipster movement" around film photography. People just do it to be cool. I think that there are quite a few reasons to still shoot analog. I also think that each person will have slightly different reasons.In SilverFast, do not use Auto CCR. First, just set Negafix as you did, then adjust Exposure until it looks about right. In your example, it is still over-exposed based on the histogram in Picture settings. Then in Negafix, adjust the Tolerance as far right without overexposing the highlights, using the histogram.This time it's Color 100. In some ways it's similar to Color 160. It has the same weird blue-ish film base. In sunny but shaded places it has a similar color profile. Grain and sharpness is similar.
