PT940 is a good gun. There is one small issue that you should be aware of. On the right side of the gun just above the grip is the trigger bar. On top of the trigger bar rides the trigger bar spring in a narrow grove. The answer is a definite no, the only mags that fit the 900 series are ones made for the 900 series. Even though the lower is similar to a 92, it's been modified in a number of ways internally to make it not work. One tip for you, avoid buying any ProMags for it.
