The original distributor used in the Willys L 134 has 11 degrees total advance in it (@ 1500 RPM). So; 5 degrees + 11 degrees is only 1 degrees. Far, for less then a typical engine. If you use an M-38 or CJ-3A frame to replace a CJ-2A frame the left motor mount will not line up, but a simple adapter can be used. Early CJ-3A frames and M-38 frames have the tabs for installing bottom mounted radiators like the CJ-2A has. When this set of bows is assembled, the centers of the rear bows will be 56-3/8 inches apart. (This is what my cj2a is) and the center of the bows on the middle set will be 54-5/8 inches apart.
